The monumental Mahler’s 8th symphony, the Symphony of a Thousand, will feature Cynthia Lawrence, one of Pavarotti’s "favorite sopranos" and 7 other great soloists in Boulder, Colorado’s annual MahlerFest, May 13-17, 2009.
Your performance will take place during the final dress rehearsal of the Colorado MahlerFest on Friday, May 15, 2009. The section you conduct will be chosen in consultation with the artistic director, Maestro Robert Olson.

1. Two to three one-hour private conducting lessons the week of May 9–15, 2009 from Robert Olson, conductor of the Colorado MahlerFest orchestra.
2. A CD of your performance produced by our professional recording engineer.
3. A video of your performance, with views from the balcony, and from the stage.
