Plans for remaining MahlerFests in Cycle #2
We have yet to perform Das Lied von der Erde, Symphonies No. 8 and
10, and the early cantata Das klagende Lied.
Dates for these remaining MahlerFests will depend on what choruses we can
engage for Symphony No. 8 and their schedule, and what soloists we can engage
for Das Lied.
Our thought at this time is to perform the Adagio of Symphony No. 10 as
the opening work when we perform Das Lied.
As for Das klagende Lied, we hope to perform the original,
unrevised three-movement version.
